Correct preparation of the surfaces before laying new flooring is of fundamental importance.
For years, F.lli Polato has placed particular emphasis on the preparation of the subfloors, performing works of demolition, grinding, shot-peening and smoothing as needed, followed by reconstruction of the subfloor with suitable cement products.
When there is a risk of rising moisture, the subfloor is coated with a vapor barrier treated using special epoxy resins before laying the new floor. We use products of the leading companies: Mapei – Kerakoll – Lechner – Benfer Schomburg – Mpm, as well as suitable equipment and specialized labor to guarantee the best results of the job.
